Repair Process

Understanding the steps involved in transforming your vehicle.

We thought we would share the steps involved in transforming your vehicle so that you can have complete peace of mind once you leave your vehicle in our care.

Step 1: Dis-Assembly

The damaged area of your vehicle is stripped or dissembled. Parts that are still useable are cleaned, placed in a storage container and marked with your vehicles details to be re-used later.

Step 2: Finalising The Repair Quantum

Once your vehicle has been dissembled, additional damage may become visible that wasn’t apparent at the time of quoting. We get authorization for these additional parts and order them.

Step 3: Panel Beating / Mechanical Repairs

Both structural and mechanical repairs are completed by highly trained specialists, with the latest technologically advanced equipment as specified by each vehicle manufacturer.

Step 4: Paint Preparation

Your vehicle panels need to be primed with a protective coating and then sanded and smoothed to ensure the best paint result.

Step 5: Painting

Our state-of-the-art spectrometer, and highly scientific equipment measures your existing paint colour to get a perfect match. Painting takes place in sealed oven rooms which filter the air twice to remove any dust particles, ensuring your paint is flawless.

Step 6: Assembly

The vehicle is then reassembled with all the new or fixed parts and stringent safety checks and diagnostics are performed to ensure precision workmanship and vehicle safety.

Step 7: Outwork

If there are services we cannot perform at our branch, or if the vehicle warranty stipulates a particular service partner, this is when we send it off to be completed.

Step 8: Polishing

When your vehicle is returned we give it a brilliant polish so that the older paint which may have lost it’s luster has the same glow as the newly painted panels.

Step 9: Quality Control Checks

Every aspect of the vehicle is checked thoroughly with the latest technology to ensure that repairs are thorough and nothing has been missed. Our QC teams are incentivized for fault finding, minimizing the chance that anything was missed during the repair.

Step 10: Valet and Delivery

The vehicle is thoroughly cleaned both inside and outside so that it looks sparkling new. The customer is then contacted to come and collect the revamped vehicle at their convenience! We love nothing better than seeing the look of JOY on our clients faces!
